Q: I love these flowers and see them frequently for sell (cut) at Wal-Mart. I think this photo is the same type of flower. I've seen them in white, purple, and orange. They have lots of floppy tube-shaped petals and when cut can last in water for a LONG

A: The flower in your picture looks like a type of Dahlia but I doubt that these are what are sold in Walmart. I would guess the flowers sold in Walmart are mums as they are a very popular cut flower. I suggest that when you see these flowers at Walmart
