White Flower Farm
NEW MILFORD -- The Silo and Hunt Hill Farm are iconic sites in town, reflecting the farming history of the past. The property will be the site of a "Photographic Farm Weekend" Friday and Saturday.
The public is invited to join award-winning photographer Rich Pomerantz at Hunt Hill Farm at 6 p.m. Friday, when, through words and photographs, he plans to share news on young farmers throughout the country.
In his free photo-talk "Farming Fresh Foods," Pomerantz will discuss how innovative food growers are changing not only our food culture but agriculture in general.
On Saturday, beginning at 7:30 a.m., Pomerantz plans to present a workshop, "Farm Places and Open Spaces," at Hunt Hill Farm. Participants will photograph silos, stables and small barns. Afterward, Pomerantz will review and critique their work.
