"What do you think Ken?" Says Ryan.

I like to start a clothes swap party but can't have it where Iive. Any suggestions on places where to host the event at.

In terms of an actual venue? I'm not sure, but in terms of an area - I think Little Five Points would be a good place to look, as I think lots of people would be interested around that area.

Swap benefits Marguerite's Place

When three community-minded businesswomen with a knack for networking get together and start sharing ideas, they find ways to help each other and turn their attention to helping others.

Marcia Griffith, of Amherst, creator and facilitator of Let’s Have a Net-Lunch! and an executive consultant for Rodan and Fields Dermatologists; Susan Kanoff, a social worker, wardrobe stylist, fashion columnist and the owner of A Great New Look; and Mary Wiseman, owner of Fitwise Personal Training Studio, created “Baubles ‘n’ Heels,” an accessory and shoe swap party. All proceeds will benefit Marguerite’s Place, Inc., a nonprofit transitional housing and supportive services program for homeless women in crisis and their children in Nashua.

How to display clothes for a yard sale or clothes swap party?

I want to figure out a way to hang clothes so they look nice (many are new). I don't want them folded on card tables, but aside from inviting people inside to look at a closet or something how do I display these clothes nicely?

You could construct a simple stand to hang clothes similar to a clothes closet. Get a couple of two by fours and make a cross with them. Make the cross center slightly higher than middle. put a couple of nails to secure them together where they cross.
