As President Jacob Zuma prepared to tie the knot last weekend at his Nkandla homestead, his son Edward, was outside racially insulting a Chinese businesswoman with strong ties to the woman his father was about to marry.
A team from the Sunday Tribune, sister paper of The Sunday Independent, caught a glimpse of the drama that ensued at KwaNxamalala village in Nkandla.
Edward moved around the homestead, carrying a spear and a shield, and commanded the VIP Protection Services to assist him in purging the media from the venue.
