How long after planting oriental/asian lily bulbs before the the blooms appear?

Asian lilies

I want to pot up some lily bulbs and have them bloom the end of June. How long after planting do the blooms appear? Should I plant now or delay planting?

It's best to plant them in the fall so you may not get blooms this year. You could so go ahead and plant them now and see. If you do plant them now, it will not hurt for next year.
