Mexican Opal
Q: I have heard different explanations for this stone. It is beautiful, it is definitely not the glass "sea opal", or opalite, and what I have found looks to be more like white Mexican fire opal, although I have not seen any actual fire in the
A: I believe Moonlight Opal is a regular white opal mixed with Mica, it adds a relflective quality to the Opal, a soft moonlike glow.
I believe it is also a natural occuring stone and geological qualities, I am not sure of.
my family owns opal mines in Magdalena Jalisco Mexico, so far we have nothing but very high quality stones of different styles,we used to sell at the gem expo's but it was never for sure how much we were going to sell, so we are trying to expand to internet
