Jesus Romero remembers when Sycamore’s Cinco de Mayo took up a fraction of the downtown street space that it does now.
In the beginning, just part of Bill Johnson Boulevard was filled; later, the entire alley was occupied, said Romero, owner of Taxco Restaurant and the festival organizer.
This year, booths, a petting zoo, a moonbounce and more spilled out onto the 100 block of North Maple Street.
As Romero pointed out activities Sunday at the 15th annual event – which offered Mexican food, music and children’s activities to benefit community organizations – he said seeing its success provided “a very nice feeling inside.”
I'm doing a project in Spanish Class about Latin American Countries and the country I was assigned to was Mexico. I need some websites' links to information about Mexican arts (famous paintings, painters, poets, writers, music etc.), Mexican dishes, and
mexican dances that are female. please, give me some instructions if u could.... or tell me where to get instructions, please and thank you, or GRACIAS y por favor!!!!
