Q: When you think of the sentence "Fashion against Aids", what do you think the sentence really means?
A: I think of the shirt at H&M that says, "Rock Hard, F*** Safe" that Tokio Hotel designed. I guess fashion fighting against the AIDS virus?!?
I want to know before I go down there and get mad because I don't have enough. Girls price preferred, but I'll take either or both. Thanks! <3
H&M has launched its fifth Fashion Against AIDS collection to increase awareness about HIV/AIDS among young people. Raising funds in support of a range of international charities the collection brings together ethnic influences from across the world. Since the launch of the campaign in 2008 H&M has raised over 6.5 million dollars. Released on the 26th April the 2012 collection is available in 300 H&M ‘Divided’ departments as well as online.
The collection drew inspiration from global styles with vibrant and colourful prints, combining influences from a number of different continents. Prints were commissioned from international artists and illustrators to create a unique collection filled with bright colours and patterns. 25% of the sale proceeds goes directly to four international youth HIV/ AIDS awareness projects who aim to educate and inform younger generations. The four charities promoting the safe sex message are:

The Cinema Against AIDS gala will also take in a fashion show, with participants including Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli, Diane von Furstenberg, Kenneth Cole and Tom Ford. The entire collection is to be auctioned as a single lot.
