Q: I recently dyed my white skirt black but the stitching is still white I emailed dylon and they told me that the material is probably synthetic so wont dye and there is nothing I can do. I really love this skirt please has anyone got any suggestions?

A: Maybe try going over it with permanent marker pen? Or maybe with shoe dye?

"Rit" brand dyes are cheap and can be used right in the washing machine. Make sure you set the water temp on the hottest it will go- and adding a half a cup of salt to the water sometimes helps the fabric to take on the dye better.
