Q: I an an entire can of black olives for dinner..is that ok? what are the health benefits...also,what can I cook with black olives so next time I can eat something with them

A: I, and generations of people of Mediterranean origin among others, cannot agree that ripe olives have no flavor, in fact there are olive bars with a variety of kinds to choose from.

The good news is that black olives are not very high

I don't eat olives so I didn't know if green or black made any difference. Do they make any difference if you are making virgin olive oil and it is black or green olives?


All olives start green. Olive oil is pressed from green olives before curing.

20 years ! cans of almost anything have a huge life span as bacteria cant get in- at least a few years -olives even better as its extremley low bacteria risk

I've been to continental markets, farmers markets & delis, but the only stuffed olives I can find are green, but I only like black olives! So why do they not stuff black ones?


They are too soft.
