My friend and I are 20 something year old urban Black Americans who went down to Rio for Carnival. We thought we would encounter racism non-stop, but in Copa, Ipa, and in the town near Cristo, white Brazilians practically held our hands as they gladly
Roasted, nutty malts offset the hoppiness of the brew, and the overall effect is a slightly bitter, slightly sweet, and extremely mellow glass of beer. It’s a rich, almost creamy brew, with hints of pine and citrus, though none of the flavors really leap out or stand shoulders above the rest.
